Maya Dalgacheva (b. 1967) is a Bulgarian writer best known as an author of children’s books. Her works have been translated into English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, and Serbian and are featured in a number of poetry anthologies in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as in textbooks, collections, and readers for preschool and elementary age. She is the winner of many awards.
