Today, with the exhibition Joy, Sadness and Hope. 25 Bulgarian Illustrators of Children’s Books, the May Festival of Culture in Dupnitsa opened to a full house. The selection of illustrations arrived in town directly from the 61st Bologna International Children’s Book Fair.

Dupnitsa is the first stop on the exhibition’s tour in the country. Residents and guests of the city will be able to visit the exhibition, located in the small hall of the municipal art gallery on Hristo Botev Street, until the end of the month. On May 21, children are invited to participate in a special event dedicated to children’s books and illustrations.

The exhibition was made possible through the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the National Culture Fund, along with the assistance of the Municipality of Dupnitsa and the city’s Kliment Ohridski Primary School.
