The project of the Culture and Literature Association, entitled “Children’s Books, Culture, and Literature,” is among the 44 proposals approved for funding by the Program Board of the Capital Municipality’s Europe Program.
The project is at the intersection of education, culture, and book publishing as a cultural industry. It envisages a public discussion on the topic of presenting Bulgarian children’s books at international forums and the preparation of a report on the topic, a study among the audience of professionals and children in the capital in connection with their knowledge and reading of Bulgarian children’s books, as well as the enrichment of the booksforkids.bg platform with new digital content.
The project has been implemented in partnership with the Children’s Books Foundation, the Bulgarian Library Information Association, and the region of Novi Iskar.
