The exhibition Joy, Sadness and Hope. 25 Bulgarian Illustrators of Children’s Books arrived in the capital from the International Children’s Book Fair in Bologna, where it was presented at the beginning of April. Sofia is the main stop for the exhibition’s tour in the country. From June 13 to 27, residents and guests of the capital will be able to visit the exhibition, which will be located in the Open Air Gallery in the park in front of the National Palace of Culture (in the lane to the Cabana cinema).
On June 12, at 7:00 p.m., Pi Point (70 Tsar Samuil Street) hosted a meeting and conversation among the curators of the exhibition, Anton Staykov and Svoboda Tzekova, and one of the selectors for the book section, Kristina Tuzharova, who spoke about this year’s participation in the prestigious forum, the Bulgarian pavilion, and world trends in the illustration of children’s books.
